ACIST CVi | The Journey to Success: Dr. Alston´s Inspiring Story

ACIST CVi | The Journey to Success: Dr. Maurice Alston´s Inspiring Story

Are you looking for inspiration to make a compelling case for investing in the ACIST CVi? Or are you looking for a success story to inspire your next new account?

Read about Dr. Maurice Alston’s, Interventional Cardiologist at Tennova Medical Center in Tennessee, experience with reducing CI-AKI incidences through the adoption of the CVi system.

The article details Dr. Alston´s experience with contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) and the challenges faced while using the hand manifold. It discusses the importance of limiting contrast volume to prevent CI-AKI and the benefits of using the ACIST CVi, which allows for easy adjustment of contrast flow and volume, also featuring the air column detection sensor to prevent air embolism.

What I found particularly inspiring about this article is how Dr. Alston was able to convince his hospital to invest in and adopt the CVi System, resulting in a reduction in AKI incidences. The article also touches on the challenges faced during the transition to the CVi System, and Dr. Alston´s effort to get other physicians to reduce their contrast volume settings.

Read Dr. Alston´s journey and learn how to convince your next new hospital to invest in the ACIST CVi. I highly recommend to read this article.

CVi Instruction Videos

We are excited to introduce the new CVi Introduction Videos which are a great tool to share with your customers!

With limited access to cath labs making it more difficult to train new accounts and hospital staff, customers expecting 24/7 support, and an increase of digitalization, it is clear that our world and our customers’ needs are changing.

In addition, we need to overcome the resistance some nurses and techs have, as they sometimes think, at first glance, that the setup of our systems is too complicated.

To help overcome many of these challenges, we have created a set of 7 CVi Instruction Videos, designed to increase the user learning curve, improve the training experience, and provide an overall increase in confidence when operating the CVi.

1. Introduction to ACIST CVi
2. System Overview
3. Consumables Overview
4. System Setup
5. End Case and Next Procedure Setup
6. System Shutdown
7. Troubleshooting

The videos are now available on ACIST.com, Youtube, and the Distributor Portal.

Help your customers by sharing the videos with them!

We were able to support our customers in their efforts to provide their patients with the safest and best possible treatment, and in the end that is what matters most.

We would like to sincerely thank all of you for your efforts and ongoing support in the past year and your commitment to our customers and our patients.

Season’s Greetings from our CEO

Dear Partners,

As we approach the end of another year, I would like to take this opportunity to express my best wishes for the holidays and thank you all for your contributions to our business and customers over the past 12 months.

At ACIST, 2022 was another busy and successful year! Working together we made good progress toward our strategic goals despite significant challenges – not the least of which were ongoing disruptions from the pandemic and the Ukraine crisis that continue to have such a substantial impact on our work and home lives, as well as on the lives of our customers.

It was also a transformative year for ACIST, in which we unified into Bracco Medical Technologies, bringing together our cardiovascular (CV) solutions with the Bracco line of diagnostic imaging (DI) solutions, further strengthening our portfolio of medical devices. Together, we are unified in our common journey to provide insights beyond the image that give health care providers the power of knowledge to transform patient outcomes. We are committed to our vision that by the end of 2025, Bracco Medical Technologies will make a difference in the lives of 75 million patients.

I’m grateful for the incredible work the ACIST team has done, especially in light of such an unusual year. It is not just the ACIST team that inspires me, it’s also our distribution partners  who have persevered. We saw you engaging with us and our customers in so many ways and you have all demonstrated that when it comes to ACIST and our distribution partners, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your efforts and ongoing support in the past year and your commitment to our customers and our patients.

I  wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a happy and successful 2023!
